In a special ceremony hosted by U.S. Representative, Ami Bera, West Sacramento Rotarian, Bob Ceccato, a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient, was awarded the "Ambassador for Peace" Medal from the South Korean Government. This Medal was presented to Bob for his "Heroism and Sacrifice" during the Korean War as a combat medic with a rifle company.
